Those of you who know me will know that I never met a stupid low-brow pop culture meme I didn't like. (I freely and gladly admit to enjoying such things as certain reality TV shows, Beavis and Butt-Head, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, websites such as Fark or The Cruel Site of the Day, and so on.)

I mention this so y'all's will know that I fully intended to watch a made-for-TV movie last night, titled Spring Break Shark Attack. Because, dude, the title just sounds like a whole mess of trainwrecky lowbrow goodness. It promised, in short, to be so bad I couldn't not watch it.

Unfortunately, apis_mellifera called and informed me that it was so horribly inane that she had to turn it off after only about ten minutes, and so I decided against watching it. Probably this was the right decision. (Plus, I was watching Reservoir Dogs.)

I've been meaning to write a longer entry about my (irrational and strange) love for certain trashy aspects of pop culture, but I haven't had the mental discipline yet to actually put it together. Soon, hopefully.
