I'm about halfway through Airborn now--Matt and Kate have just taken the skeleton and been caught in the storm--and I must say, this book is jolly good fun. I've been enjoying it immensely. I think this was one of my more fortunate impulse buying decisions.

And now I want more books set in this world, darn it.

I suppose, though, that I'll be contenting myself with John Courtney Grimwood's Paschazade (which has been highly recommended to me) when I move out to Delaware and start buying books again. Because, you know, I'm all about the alternate history. (Except Harry Turtledove. I'll grant that The Guns of the South was pretty good [in which South African white supremacists steal a time machine and give the Confederate Army assault rifles], but man, he's just milking it now.)

And finally, I'm going to see John Wesley Harding on August 5th, and you're not. Ha.
