President Bush, a few days ago, denied the allegations of Amnesty International and the Red Cross about the torture going on at Guantanamo Bay. "We do not torture," were his exact words.

Also a few days ago, Vice-President Cheney asked Congress to exempt CIA interrogation operatives from U.S. laws forbidding government agents from using torture.

Yesterday, reporters asked White House press secretary Scott McClellan about this inconsistency.
