Some of you might know the game company Ubisoft. They make good games, both for the computer and for home consoles; I own several of them, and I play them fairly regularly. So, you know, they've got a certain reputation for being skilled at the whole "making a fun game" thing.
So, they've got a new game that just came out, called Assassin's Creed. Now, it just so happens that the team that made Assassin's Creed was led by a programmer named Jade Raymond, who is intelligent and articulate, but more saliently, a young attractive woman. I mention this point specifically because, well, this fact seems to be all that the internet buzz about this game is centering on.
And recently, this buzz is starting to take... well, a rather disturbing turn, frankly. I have no words. That Broken Toys link does it much better than I could.
